Fischer rosewood wave-lip piccolo headjoint Selling due to upgrade of old body. I purchased this headjoint a year after I bought my Yamaha 62, as these heads are specifically designed to fit this model. If you can't afford £2000+ for a decent new piccolo, then consider upgrading the head. Now a rare model as Fischer aren't producing these anymore, the head is made out of rosewood which gives a more brighter and fuller sound compared to standard grenadilla wood. It also has a wave-lip embouchure which helps to focus the air to produce a sweeter sound and for me was a lot more comfortable. £450.
